Dual Potentiometer Question

Does anyone remember dual pots? (as a volume and tone control) The front pot had a hollow shaft and the rear pot a solid one. I have looked through the selection on Allied, Newark and Digikey without success. Would you know whether these are still available?

I don't remember ever seeing a dual pot with individual controls. All the dual pots I have seen were single shaft for both. I have seen the type of arrangement you indicate but it was always a switch/pot combo. PL

The local salvage yard around here will sell old car stereos 2 for $5. You might get lucky and find one with the right values.

I have seen dial pots with separate controls. They were common on televisions from the 1950's.

Fro replacement they were typically built up from repair kits.

That type of dual control was used on car radios and TV's. Check with PTOP. Here is their list:
