It's said to be similar to 6M5 which I believe is used in Australia?

:Hello, I have a Hickok 6000 and 6000A tube tester, however, a 6227 tube does not appear on the roll charts. Is there a way to test this tube on one of these testers? You can either reply to this posting or email me directly at OldRadios@AOL.COM

It seems the 6M5 tube HAS been suggested as being problematic in its past. (Considering that your industrial numbered version might not have been a ruggedized upgrade ?) It might be further worthwhile to take a read on this info at this site for their resultant end solutions @. (Ending up down at the 6GW8/ECL86 info.)
