Looking for a 1948 Philco Radio/Phonograph model 48-1270 schematics. I cant seem to locate them on this site.

Here is how to locate all the information for your radio. Go to Rider schematics and select Philco 48-1270. After that increase the page number by one to view next page. The schematic is located at-

Notice where it says 18-157. Change that to 18-158 to view the next page. Click on the page itself to get an enlarged better quality print. When changing pages be sure to allow at least 30 seconds between selections or you will get a request exceeded message. You can view up to 25 pages a day.

The clarity of the schematics make it hard to read numbers and other things are. Can I obtain a much higher quality schematics from this site?

Try clicking on the schematic. This will make it larger and better resolution. Then use your computer to reduce it down. See if that helps.
