Hello all. How far off can power supply caps be and still operate effedtvely.Ex. Let's say there is a 40 mf cap in the power supply and I have to replace it but all I have is a 47 mf cap or a 33mf cap, can I use these or is it risky.Thanks for info.

Use the 47 MFD. that should be just fine as long as the voltage is correct or higher.
