:howdy edd,how are thee??
:i'm in need of a schematic for a western air patrol console, model 1139-11 tubes-the distinct tubes are 6ae6 and 6af6 eye tube with an 80 rectifier,i have been unable to find anything about this radio-may have been built by gifillan.
:thanks,phil

:Sir Phil. . . . . .
:
:
:I'm here . . . but that schematic is not.
:
:
:Can you fill us in on the sets complete toobie complement.
:
:
:And is the schematic needed for toubleshooting an inoperative receiver ?
:
:
:If so, what is the perceived general nature of problem.
:
:
:And any chance that 6AE6 is seeming to be interconnected with tht 6AF6 as in possibly serving as an AVC amp stage ? or it more over towards the AF output stage ?

:hi edd!
:complete line up is-80,6af6,6v6x2,6f5,6sk7x2,6k8,6ae6,6h6g and 6j7.
:no real problems with the set i haven't resolved,it's playing well now after replacing some caps and a few resistors-not done yet but good progress and set performs o.k.-just not great for an 11 tube radio.
:just looking for some documentation mainly and a good explaination of the 6af6 tube's operation-it's sorta unique-never saw one before.
:thanks for the help.phil
:p.s.-i've been told that the info may be in a gifillan-specific manual, was hoping someone here might have it.
