:Hi all I just picked up a Gulbransen chairside radio with no model # on it. I can not find a schematic to match this tube line up...Help please... Radio has 3 224s, 227, 2 245s, and a 280 tube. Tube sockets are marked w/ these numbers...I am guessing it is 1930-33. It has the lovely tar cap blocks and I need to know the cap values...Thank you for any help.

We have Rider schematics for older radios. Other than that not much is available.
Pin #2 on all tubes is plate. This pin should be positive. Pin #3 on the 24 is screen and will also be positive but less than pin #2. Would expect voltage in the 100-250 volt range. Missing voltage will stop the radio from operating.

:I look through all of the scheamtics on here and the 160 modle is close but has a extra 27 tube...I am not expert so I am kind-a looking for the exact schematic...If i use the 160 model schematic I will "get lost" with all the extra wires and such

:George,
:Look through radiomuseum.org. Their listing does not show one that matches your tube lineup but lists two with little description. It shows a model 535 7 tube console with no other info. & a model M-5-A1 large table model with a picture. Are you looking for a true chairside console? John
