I was watching the TV show Firefly on Netflix a few days ago. It was episode number 10, "War Stories" and I saw something interesting in the background. About four minutes from the end there was a Zenith console radio from 1940 or so. It was only shown for a couple of seconds when two people are fighting. Its interesting because the action takes place in a space station.

Many ground control and spaceship movie sets used Hallicrafters HF gear back then also.
