Emerson AX-235 Schematic
5/21/2010 12:22:52 PMLouie7
Hi, me again..

While working on my AX-235, I noticed that the RIDERS Vol.9 9-51 and 9-52 I've been working from says Models AX-211,AX-212,AX-217,AX-219 .... some kind of radio/phonograph combo...

Evidently, when I began this project 20 some years ago, this was the closest diagram I could locate in those pre-internet days.

The radio portion seems accurate, it's very close.. tube compliment is identical, and the layout seems the same, etc.

But, because I haven't actually seen the correct schematic, I'm not certain all the data is correct for my radio. And of course, there's a lot of phono stuff that doesn't really apply.

So, LONG STORY SHORT, does anybody here have the correct Emerson AX-235 schematic, either SAMS or RIDERS, or any reasonable facimile ?

If so, would it be possible to scan me a copy. I'd be more than happy to reciprocate in any way.

Thanks,

Louie Seven

Have a look at the schematic for the Emerson AX-240 .. This one does not the phono option. All the AX chassis are the same basic set.

Hi again, Warren...

Got it ! thanks....

Are we to assume that a specific AX-235 diagram does not exist ?

I'm thinkin' so.

Louie,
Beitman covers these models with the same schematic:
AX-211, AX-212, AX-217, AX-235, AX-237, AX-238, AX-239, AX-240 and AX-257.
It does not show the phono section.

Hi, Carl T.

Say, I went to the link you provided and it picks up the document, but it seems to be blank.

I saved and opened it on my desktop, and also opened it directly on the host site.... it's labeled correctly and it takes up band-width (27kb to be exact), but it's just white paper when viewed.

Am I doing something wrong ? Maybe it's just too old or something !?

Regards, Louie7

Hi, Carl T.

Please ignore the previous post.

I messed around with the URL, accessed the parent site and downloaded their DJVU Viewer. Finally got it.
Cool site, but eveidently they want you to enter from the front door. http://techpreservation.dyndns.org/schematics/

Thanks a bundle!
