I noticed your request on ARF. Could the 12SJ7 have been a replacement for 12SK7? If an IF tube should be 12SK7 when a radio has AVC.
If that's the case this is a popular tube lineup.

:I use Grillecloth.com's "Radio Finder Tube List" frequently to find model numbers. Today I'm getting no hits for an Emerson bakelite table model 5 tuber AC/DC set. Lineup is real basic... 12SA7, 12SJ7, 12SQ7, 50L6 and 35Z5. Anyone know if the Radio Finder Tube List site is broken or maybe I'm just doing something wrong?
