Philco 46-350 (121)

Anyone have a clear print for this Philco Roll-top ?
The switching and heater return line has problems, and the schematic is not readable right there. (figures) The one from the schematic bank won't open.

Paul,
I have been looking for the same schematic. Would you mind sending me a copy as well? If so, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks....

Be real careful withthis one. With today's elevated line voltage, the heater string can be running too hot. I added a resistor in series with the heater string to get down to the correct voltage. This is especially important if the 117Z3 is bad or missing, and you substitute a silicon diode.

So far as the battery/AC switch, I ususally totally remove it and hard wire everything to run on A.C. This little set will really surprise you once you get it up and running. It has an RF amplifier.

Thanks for the heads up on that. The problem was part of R-11 being open, and an open wire in the heater string. The 117Z3 is good. After a re-cap job it does have very good performance. The speaker sits on top of all the components. Be sure everything clears the speaker frame. The AC/DC switch is good, operates from the cover slide lever.

Sir Warren. . . . . .

Got 'er goin' eh . . .

The attached copy of that page . . . . LESS all of its Mount Eyjafjallajökull
ash like clutter in the power supply section . . . is attached . . . . mainly for the benefit of Sir Richard if he tunes in . . and merely wants to drop it in for the bad page . . . with it being formatted the same as the bad PDF page.
