I am Klaas from the Netherlands and i own a console radio from General Electric from 1935. I want some more info abbout this radio. In Holland knowbody can tell me anything! I know that a firm calls "Radio Peeters" imported American radio's to Holland in the 1930"s. Most radio's were destroyed in WW-2 bij Germans! My radio had survived this time wonderwell and playes exellent today!
If anyone can tell me more abbout this raio, i am very pleased! (Happy)

From the looks of things, it seems that the importer replaced the U.S. power transformer for your 50-Hz power. Or maybe the importer bought U.S. radios without a power transformer, and then installed one for your electric power.
Nice looking radio. Can you find a model number? Schematics for GE can be found by clicking on "Resources" above but require a model number.
