I have a Realistic Clarinette 96 system and the turntable is very stiff and does not rotate easily at all. How do I remove the table to see what is causing the binding? The motor works ok.
: Usually the table is held on with a pressure type clip.
: Once this is removed you may find ball berings visible. they could be rusty or pitted (in that case replacement is the only answer) otherwise a few drops of oil may get some relief.

As I recall, most of the turntables that Radio Shack used were BSR, and if that one is the vintage I think that it may be, you may find the issue is really nothing more than hardened lubricant in the mechanism underneath. Sometimes thatdried grease will bind things up as effectively as glue. The only way to get this is from beneath the entire mechanism.
Opening the cabinet is usually a requirement to getting at the whole unit where you can work on it. There likely will not be much to see under the turntable platter.
If it seems that you need to get the platter off, take a small screwdriver and press down around the center spindle to see if you can press the rubber pad down at all. If you can, pull back the rubber enough to get a look at what should be an "E-Clip" underneath, and that will come off. Try not to dislodge the rubber pad if it is glued down if you are concerned about appearance when you are done.
If it is a model that only allows the narrow back to be removed, you should see three, possibly four clips that are attached on the bottom of the pins that run through the support springs(From inside you should see the pins, but not the springs. Take a needle nose plier to grab the "L" shaped portion of the clip that is in contact with the tip of that scew/pin, and lift it to clear the screw/pin end so you can slide the clip off of the screw/pin.
: I do not see a clip on the top of the turntable. Is it possible some mounting screws are under a decorative plate on the tables center area?

I've been given a Clarinette 66 of Realistic.
The trouble is, there is no needle on it, what type of needle do I have to buy for it ?
