Hello again.This is in regards to the Silvertone hiFi as well.The AM works fine but when I switch the FM on you can hear stations for about 2 to 3 seconds and then it fades out and there is no reception at all.Is this a resistor changing value or some other problem?? Would be nice to get FM to hear classical and Jazz stations.

First thing to try, change the FM discriminator tube.
