Could use a modern 4" speaker which are common but won't have a field coil. The field coil could be used from your original or a resistor used in its place.

Here is what you can do. Replace the field coil with a resistor of the same or slightly larger value. Use a 10 watt rresistor. It will operate warm. If this gives too much hum increase filter cap values.
6D525 uses two 20 mf @ 150 volt filter caps. Use up to 47 mf if necessary. This value was used in other radios which didn't have field coils.
