Any subsitutions that can be made for this tube (6BA6) other than EF93...The tube is going into a 1948 Admiral TV...THANKS

You will find a lot of tubes listed as sub for 6BA6. They will work but some are sharp cutoff. Depending on the circuit sharp cutoff can distort under certain conditions. 6BD6 is similar to 6BA6. 6AU6, 6AG5, 6BC5 are sharp cutoff but may work depending on circuit.
