RCA Phonograph 6-JY-1C "45's"

Hi- I hase just bought a record player that is used with a radio, I need a needle for it, also some service info. It has a "astatic" cartridge # 62-1 and says use a # N27-1 needle. Where can I get a needle, and what can I use to lubricate the motor and running gear, as it is gummed up. It turns slow but all seems to work.Thanks any one, dennis..

West Tech Services is listed in the AES catalog as having needles & cartridges. Charles Carey can be reached at 888-828-8455. The old Astatic cartridge may also be bad?

Clean up the motor and use a light oil. Be sure to keep it off rubber parts.

Thanks Norm, for the info, I havent tested the cartridge yet, It looks good( no dents, etc) just the tip of needle is gone. Ill give them a call! Dennis.
