Hi Quini,
Try Emerson #32, if the 78 needs to be a 75. Check for pins 3 and 4 being connected together. That will indicate that your tube needs to be a 75 in the socket. If not I'm all wet.

Tubes 75 and 78 lok different. A 78 looks like it has an old tin can inside with wire in it. A 75 looks like it has a metal tube triode up top and a small metal box at the bottom inside. This can help identify a tube if the number is worn off.

Hi Rill,I have the radio in another city, I will see next weekend. At the base puts FR 342, a reference in the upper coil 8496. thanks
