I have an old Silvertone floor model with an open hum bucking transformer mounted on the speaker. Does anyone know where I can find a replacement hum bucking transformer?

Check Play Things of Past, oldradioparts.com. They carry many one of a kind items.

You can use a regular output transformer. Connect the two bottom wires together. If you have a slight hum increase the value of filter caps.

Nothing is whrong with your transformer. The "humm" came from Electrolitic Capacitors. Replace all of them !
