Id old radio cabinet

I have a sloped front walnut radio cabinet my dad bought from a pawn shop in the early 40's
and removed the guts to make a small disk while he was in med school. There is not a label
or identifying mark on the darn thing that I can find. It has legs and is hinged to give access to
what I guess was the battery compartment. As I said, it has a sloped front (he made a door)
and the top is also hinged and has a hole (~ 1-1/2") in the center (for speaker?). Any
guesses? For sentimental reasons I have always wanted to find out what it was originally and
try to rebuild it.

Received several emails - all of them identifing the cabinet
I have as a Radiola 28. Found a couple of good pictures
of it on the web. Hole in lid is for loop antenna.

What is the chance of finding the "guts", antenna, and
proper speaker for this cabinet?

Thanks
