I have a Philco model 49-1606, same as 1609, 1611. For the life of me, I cannot figure out where the line on back of the tone control/on off knob connects. I do know there was a cap, well...Not being a genius, not being able to read the rough schematic, I cannot figure it out. Have the line in from the power..I tried to mark everything and the phone kept ringing, and I can't figure it out.
