It's probably line level, which is .775 volt peak.

We were talking the other day about connecting something to a Magnavox, I think, phono input, and I said I had a rotary switch connected into the AUX jack of my stereo amplifier, and that CD, VCR, DVD, and SAT are alll about the same level when switched into my stereo amp.
