Folks,

I have a Victor Micro-Synchronous Radio R-39 that still operates with all original components (drifts a tad).

Can someone(Norm?)provide me with the date(s) of manufacture.

Hi Rob

The RCA Victor R-39 isn't listed in Collector Guide to Antique Radios. It is in Rider Vol #1. By tube types your radio would have been made in 1929 or 1930.

Hey Norm,

Thanks for the quick turn around. I've been lugging this monster around for about 10 years and have decided to sell it. Was looking for a date to advertise. Hate to let it go but just can't find the time to restore the cabinet.
