Hi, I picked one of these up yesterday, It works, but I would like the schematic for it also. Does any one have the photofact that they would be willing to send me?

Thanks very much

It powers up, no reception. The power + audio chassis had been recaped. when attacehd to a vcr there is no audio , or video. There IS raster, changed by the verticle and horizontal knobs. Focus control works, volume works. There is a terminal strip that has two posts one is un labeled the other says "alcon". Should my input go between the two or between one and ground?
the 1b3 is gassy (glows) but still works. I will replace.
The schematic would really help.

Hi

Information is listed in Sam's Photofact #57-2. Maybe someone reading this has a copy? Might also try your local library. They can usually order this information from a main branch. Sam's also sells information by calling 800-428-7267.

I know that my library doesn't have them. I asked before and they said "why would we keep something that old and space consuming?" The palce closest to me that has them is western michigan university (3hrs) andd they are only open from 10am to 2 (why?)
If anyone would scan it and send it it would be greatly appreciated

Hi Ian

Next time ask your library if they can order it from a main branch. My library doesn't have Sam's either but can order them for me from a County library. They don't charge.

Ask them what good is a library if they don't have old material? Some of us go to libraries to study history.

Hi, I got the schematic yesterday, and replaced all paper/electrolitic capacitors. When I powered it up there was still raster, it was dimmer, and still no picture or sound. Any ideas? All tubes check ok.

There is a selenium bias rectifer for the audio and video tubes. it is bad. 300k ohms one way 9k the other. the schematic calles for a .32 ma rectifier. the only diode I have laying around is a 1n5406 (overkill) does this need a resistor in series with it? .3 ma doesnt seem like any voltage would be dropped anyway. The output voltage is unknowm.

I replaced the diode and powered it up. I get nothing, except when I get the tuner between channels 3/4. I get audio, weak, and video extemely poor, and not stable. It looks as if the sweep is displaying video but with to many repetitions vertically. Anyone want to help or know where I can get help?
