I need a multimeter. Can anyone suggest one for me to buy. I am learning to repair radios. I have all kinds, battery types, 30's thru 50's tube type radios.

Go buy a cheap one until you know what you are doing. Study, study, study. Go slowly. Get a tube manual and all the books on radios and elementary electronics you can find. There are lots of "experts" who have no idea what they are doing and just replace parts until things seem to work. Don't become one of these. Learn how things work and the hobby will be a lot more fun.

A Fluke with simlar functions will cost about $130 on Amazon. So I picked this up, so far so good

:Thanks, I have been tinkering and reading books for several years. I just did not know what model or brand to look at, there are so many and I did not want anything with a lot of bells & whistles.

Larry,
That ebay item looked pretty decent for the price, lotsa functions, but not familar with the logo. I have a Fluke and B&K DMM's, with an old Rad Shack VOM as standby. Accuracy, reliability and batt life are important. Google the logo and see what comes up.
