I had one of these AM/FM radios and the schematic and service information was folded up in a pocket inside the cabinet. Have you had the back panel off yet?

I'd be up for that..
I'm certainly no expert, but I've learned a bunch..
IMO I would recommend that you start with an all american 5,,,that way if you oops it, no biggie.
I learned that the hardway by 'oopsing' a transformer on a Telefunken ..
One additional thing, get your self a cheap digital camera and take many pictures as you go.. that has saved me loyts of headaches..
I have a USB memory stick just for radios..
I'm certainly no expert, but I've learned a bunch..
