Hi Joe, I've emailed the service information for the Philco 50-1725 and the changes notice for the 50-1720 that explains the differences ( the same information covers both models). I hope the dial stringing diagram is the same.

thanks i got the diagrams and looks like i have a string set missing, which would explain alot. thanks again for you help don, appreciate it
