I have a can that is marked 40-10-10 but no schematic. Is there any way to determine which leg is which on the bottom? They are all way out of spec :p

Hi

If it is metal can each terminal will be marked by a symbol, square, triangle etc. These symbols will be identified on side of the can.

WHAMMO:
If you have determined that "they are all way out of spec", you should know which leg is 40 versus the two 10's. There will be significant, if relative, readings. In any event, seems like the cap is a candidate for re stuffing.
