This radio has a real good top end receive but receives very little from about 1100 down. Is there any alignments that I could do to even it out up and down the band?

Have you done an alignment ? Sub 12BE6 & 12BA6 with known good ones ? At high end of the tuner, rock C-C1 antenna trimmer for best reception. BTW the print for this is Western Auto D-2102A
