Something I forgot to mention in my first post, when I got the radio, the volume control was lose and spinning in the chassis and the two wires were lose. If one of those wires grounded at the time they came lose, could it have blown the output transformer?
I have an old heath tube volt/ohm meter and a old heath scope. I have looked at the schematic for this radio and I dont see anywhere on it of what voltages should be where on the tube sockets. Please advise and I will run some tests and will share my findings.
Thanks to everyone!
:Hi, I have pulled the cover off of the tuner and there are some warping of the plates. There are several that are touching. I really dont see how this could affect anything with the tuning cap open, nothing touches. I should be getting some kind of response.

:I looked and I did mention that last part in my last post. I have just been about to pull my hair out on what to do to get this radio to give me some output.

:John,
:My 90B had an open cathode resistor (wire wound) in the output tube circuit. The resistor is common to both cathodes. I managed to find the open, unwound a turn, cleaned and twisted the ends together, then crimped them. Output sound reappeared..

This is a TRF radio. You can connect an antenna to different sections of the tuner. This will bypass any front end stage that might have a problem.
Measure voltage on pin #2 of each tube. This is the plate pin and all should be positive.

:Have you tested the audio transformers that are sealed in block of tar?
