6/12 volt power supply??

I am looking for a 6volt /12volt power supply sutible for running old car radios on my test bench. Or a plan to build one. Any help will be appreciated! Dennis.

Hi,

Your simplest solution is to buy a 5 amp battery charger, and simply add a "Pi" filter. Take a choke from an old TV, and use two electrolytics, 1000 Mfd to 3000 Mfd with a working voltage of 18-35 volts.
