I am wondering if someone could help me.. I am currently trying to find the electrolytics on the schematic and in the radio listed above. This is the oldest radio I have ever worked on before. Before this around a 1950 model, is as far as I have gone.
This radio looks so different underneath the chassis and it is confusing me. Can someone please give me a little push on this???? EDD where are you at??? Warren??? I guess what Im looking for is the placement and the voltages.. I am planning on doing a total recap of this unit, it belongs to my father in law and I would like for him to hear this radio play again since he remembers it as a little boy, hes 80 years old now.

Hello Jesse:
C-44 (10MFD 450VDC) C-45 (10MFD 450VDC) C-42 (20MFD 25VDC) For the rest of the capacitors you could use the polyester film type. Those have a voltage rating of 600VDC or better.

All three of those are in a can type filter, right above the 6H6. Replace with three individual capacitors.
