I have removed the battery holders, the 4 screws on the front panel and the phone jack nuts. There is nothing else I can find securing the panel. The panel is free at the top but will not release from the bottom and is especially tight at the lower left.
There is nothing securing the chassis to the bottom of the cabinet.
After an hour or so of fiddoing with a chassis that is loose however will not come out I suspect the knobs may be holding it from removal. However there are no set screws and none of them pull off with as much, even a little more force than I dare exert.
I have recently completed a restoration of a Zenith Model 17 which had knobs that were molded permanently to their shafts by design. I am therefore reluctant to apply potentially destrucive force to pull these knobs.
The base of the knobs are flush to the panel so WD40 seems not to be a possibility.
It is a rare set in very good shape so I will be most appreciative of any help.

Mine still has all the batteries, and only slightly corroded. I plan to try something like clear polyetheline to coat and preserve them.
Good luck with your restoration. If I can be of any help (doubtful) you can reach me at barkerbin@earthlink.net

::While I have not yet begun the restoration on my Radiola IV, other Radiolas of the same vintage have knobs that do not have set screws nor do they pull off. To remove them, you must get to the wiper arm on the knob shaft and lossen the small bolt that tightens the arm to the knob shaft. You can then pull out the knob from the pannel front.
