Uploading pictures/images; AR8711 Power Supply
8/31/2009 7:20:50 PMLeslie
Hello,

Sorry to be a dunce, but I cannot locate the post I read earlier this summer which explains how to upload images to one's message. I have an RCA Radiomarine AR-8711 Radio Direction Finder on which I would like some advice--particularly about the power supply, which was fed into the unit via a 21 pin Jones plug at the back of the set.

Given that 'a picture is worth a thousand words', if I put up the schematic page (from BAMA) and a couple of pictures of the RDF that would probably help to clarify the question(s). If anyone does happen to know offhand what the B+ voltage was for the AR8711 that would certainly help :o)

Anyway, I believe one has to upload one's photos to a free website of some kind, then create a link in the posting.

Cheers.

that is correct. use a site like photobucket or if you have a myspace or facebook you can upload to albums there. then when you wanna post here just right click photo and at the bottom of the choices is properties left click and you should see the http address or url copy and paste that here *but you have to type this in first if you dont use the <> or the code it wont work. its called html code. Don't feel bad i just figured it out myself!

Hi Don,

Many thanks for that...almost there. The image of the HTML code you included does not appear--just a red 'x'. Could you let me have the HTML text?

Fingers crossed, and your input is really appreciated.

Cheers,

Leslie
