I can't find grundig?
8/19/2009 8:07:24 PMKirk
You've been very helpful before and I'm hoping you can help me again. A fella wants me to fix the dial cord or belt on a 1950 Grundig model 3045. It also has a pushbutton problem. I can't find anything for Grundig in the resources. Just Grunow. Was this set made by someone else and marketed by Grundig? Sure appreciate any help you can give.
Thanks you, Kirk

If someone here doesn't have that info, try radiomuseum.org for European radio information. You have to be a member to receive schematic info.
Some of these pushbutton/manual tune mechanisms are very complex and fragile. Take your time. You have to repair what breaks.

Agree with Walt... 99% of the radios in Nostalgia Air's resources are US manufacturers with the remainder devoted to Canadian radios. Every now and again someone like Edd will pull such info out of their hats - but not always.

Buttttt, any how, this is from just a few model digits away and the cabinet looks just the same and the tube line up is identical to yours, so here is its info to examine and compare against your AM and FM dial cords.

PLUS, that model, seems to be a '54 model . . . . vice a 50 model.
