Thanks
I have the instructions for this add-on and the text mentions to plug the adapter into the 9 pin miniature socket and connect the plate cap lead to the stud on the adapter unless the tube under test has a plate cap.
If you need settings for a particular tube let me know.
Tim
: Does anyone know how to use the adapter that allows this tube tester to test the large 9 pin Noval, Compactrons, and nuvistors on this tube tester.
: Thanks
The manual for the 614/614 is located in the Manuals Section of this site. It may have the info you need.

I have a question for you. The settings for the 12-pin compatron tubes show that
you need to insert tube in the socket with key at #. # represents a number. How do
you determine which pin is the key? Thanks.
