Just trying to let those who repair radios know that they are available. Been busting my butt every day for the last couple of years figuring out how to make products that guys can use. When I make something like push buttons for a particular radio I would like to be able to announce it somewhere. Otherwise, it could be years before someone realizes that they are available and I get discouraged in the mean time and throw in the towel.

Since my business is considered a commercial business, (more of a hobby), I can't use the "For Sale" sections of forums.

I wish that there was a forum section for announcements of new products for radios. I don't like advertising on forums either.

OK. I'll back out and leave you guys alone.

What peter was doing was a daily advertisement. This is what people were bitching about. It has been a long time since I have seen Blacksmith post anything. Telling the forum about parts he has available i think goes a lot farther with people than posting about how nicely painted and clean your radio is.

Hello All,

What's wrong here? Here's a guy offering parts to help restore a particular set, and he's turned away.....

I do apologize if I didn't make my postion clear. I was advocating for Blacksmith. In fact, he has a few parts I need myself.

Hello, I'm not a regular poster here. I use the other Antique Radio Forum. I'm the one who requested that "backsmith" (won't use his name) to make the Fairbanks Morse grommets for an 8A table set that I was completing a total restoration of the chassis. He did a quick turnaround on making the mold and sent me the three tuning gang grommets ($3.50) that I needed to complete the set.
It's pretty sad that this forum would not allow a hobbiest, who's just trying to help us out with non-existant parts, know that he now has these in stock.
