2A3H diagram
7/11/2009 6:37:36 PMDave Froehlich
Hello All,
I cannot find the tube diagram for a 2A3H anywhere except here:http://www.radiomuseum.org/tubes/tube_2a3h.html but I cannot look at the pictures. Does anyone have the diagram for the 2A3H? It's supposed to be a different tube.

Thanks,

Dave

Carl,
I don't think that diagram is correct. The 2A3H is supposed to have a cathode attached to one end of the filament. The picture at the radio museum has both the 2A3 and 2A3H on the same page. But it's so tiny I can barely see it.

Thanks,

Dave

Carl,
This one looks like it might be correct:

But it was with your link that I was able to find it.

Thanks,

Dave

Hi Dave

Tube manuals have 4D basing for 2A3 and 2A3H. 2A3H looks really different inside since it has a cathode but might use the same spec. Maybe center tap of heater is connected to cathode. Even Raytheon, company which made the 2A3H, doesn't show a difference.
