Hello all.I have a 1960's Silvertone Custom Stereophonic receiver that uses 4 6BQ5's and has a separate power supply chassis and radio chassis.I have my television DVD and VCR hooked into the inputs.Sounds absolutely amazing watching movies through!!However when I switch it to radio there is aloud static hum sound. It totally disappears when I pull the RCA plugs out from the television. What is this all about. Not a big deal to plug and unplug jacks, but can anything be done to eliminate this?Is this some kind of grounding issue??Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

It could be the cables are to close to AC cords, and other cable junk. If you have kind of a mess of cables and wires, try running the cables as short and direct as you can. Even try another AC outlet for the radio, not all on like a plug strip.
