Electrolytic for Zenith 6G001

I am trying to replace the electrolytic cap the radio has now. It is marked on the paper cover as 40x150, 20x150, 40x150 and 200x10. I can not tell by the schematic and looking a the cap from the bottom of the chassis which pin is which. The info I have read that the base of the cap should be marked like the cover with a semicircle, triangle and square notation but when I removed the cap nothing. If anyone has replaced the cap with the newer caps, please tell me how to ID the pins. Using a clock face as a reference, I will call pin-1 at 1:00, pin-2 at 4:00, pin-3 at 8:00 and pin-4 at 11:00. The cap metal cover has a pin at 6:00 thru the chassis. I appreciate all and any help. 6:00.

Hi Ken

Agree the cap should have the terminals marked right by the connections. Look closely, it's not always obvious. Sometimes it's no more than indentations in the insulator.

If you don't find markings and others can't help check the schematics here on nostalgiaair. You radio schematic is shown.

Use 4 individual capacitors when replacing the original. They cost less and are easy to find.

Norm,

I appreciate the note, I have the schematic and have been unable to figure this out. I am needing help in how to wire the new caps to replace the old cap.
