Try a number 39. Cutoff is different but they usually work. A #64 would be nice but they are rare. Made by National Union and only a year or so.

Depending on the circuit #38 might work. Made as an output tube but will also operate as #36 under some conditions.

Hi G. Berg, I checked a substitution list and it says a 39/44 will work just fine. If you don't have one I have a couple but no 36 let me know if you need one. Best 2 U
