:Just a little trick. You know when you make a replacement lens it has a habit of collecting dust. So you have to remove the chassis and clean the dust from inside the lens. Well before you put the chassis in borrow a sheet of Bounce from the wife and lightly wipe the lens and it will remove the static electricity and it won't collect dust. It works GREAT.
:Geo,
:Yea, it works. Been doing on my TV's (crts only) for years, but of course being a smoker, takes more effort to clean that stuff off.

:::Hi Marv, The wife and I smoke she just found out that dish soap (Dawn) on a damp rag to clean the screen, then wipe off with clear water on a damp rag works great to clean the TV screen much better than Windex. Will try the Bounce on the screen, living in the middle of a desert we get dust everywere. Heck I might try Bounce on a couple radios and see if it cuts down the dust. Thanks for the info.
