Bounce & Lens Dust

Just a little trick. You know when you make a replacement lens it has a habit of collecting dust. So you have to remove the chassis and clean the dust from inside the lens. Well before you put the chassis in borrow a sheet of Bounce from the wife and lightly wipe the lens and it will remove the static electricity and it won't collect dust. It works GREAT.

Geo,
Yea, it works. Been doing on my TV's (crts only) for years, but of course being a smoker, takes more effort to clean that stuff off.

:Hi Marv, The wife and I smoke she just found out that dish soap (Dawn) on a damp rag to clean the screen, then wipe off with clear water on a damp rag works great to clean the TV screen much better than Windex. Will try the Bounce on the screen, living in the middle of a desert we get dust everywere. Heck I might try Bounce on a couple radios and see if it cuts down the dust. Thanks for the info.
