Is your circuit different?

I mentioned what was shown in Rider. Different value caps can be used. Select ones that give the best tone response to your ears. Different values will not hurt the circuit.

::Norm..and all others...On the Philco 19 run 126 series the tone control is different than 2 .015 caps in series. I took the tone control apart (picked tar out) and there apears to be 1 .015 cap and the other one is about 1/4 in size. I used a .02 and a .01 caps as replacement..will fire this up tomorrow and see how it works. ( I recapped the entire set..and more) OHHH I just love picking out the old tar out of the cans that Philco used...HA HA Actually I do..kind-a relaxing....
