:Hi Everyone! I recently picked up a 1935 Austin AM/SW Model number? Yet, the escutceon has "Austin Super Het." stamped on it. According to the schematics listed here, this model doesn't exist, the tube line-up doesn't come close to any listed. The tube line-up is as follows- 80,56,57,58,and 47. After looking through my trusty copy of "The Locator" by G. Larsen it turns out to be made by the Davison Radio and Television Co. for Montgomery Wards hence Airline model 62PC43.Oh by the way, this was the only radio listed with this tube line-up in the Locator. Two questions, would anyone know the exact Austin model number and does anyone know where a possible photo of either radios might be? It appears there was a handle at one time on top of the radio and I'd really like to know what it looked like. After recapping and aligning, it works great on both bands! Thanks everyone! What great site by the way!
