Hi all, I am going to build my first amp. I parted out a 40's crosley console , power transformer, field coil, output xformer,...
Here is my schematic the four output tubes are 6k6's, the phase inverter is a 6J5, and the audio stage is also a 6j5 the recifier is a 5y3. The tone part goes where the A/B IS after the 1st audio. Anyone see any problems?

I was starting to set up the sockets and mounts when i found a 6f5. Would this work better as the audio preamp? what changes would need to be made? also the pots in the tone section are 1 meg, and the volume control is 5k.
