Thought some might find this interesting, 1966 GE list price for tubes. Normal discount was 50 to 70 percent off.

Bob, last time I was buying tubes from a store, needed a 35W4 I think about 15 yr. or so ago. When salesman put down price for it little over 10 bucks, told him to just keep it.
