Dial Cord
4/12/2009 2:04:08 AMVinny
Greetings, I have a train wreck Sonora RZLU-248.
It needs it all but my question is: The dial cord is shot and needs replacement. Is there a certain type of dial cord to be ordered, size, type, etc.? Where can it be purchased?
thank you,
Vinny A.

Hi Vinny, I have had real good luck with "Spiderwire Stealth High Performance Braid" fishin line 50 LB, 150 yards will set you back around 12 bucks. You can get it at your local Walmart, fishin supplies. I've strung several radios with this and it works great!! Best 2 U, George T

George, I tried the Walmart website with no luck. I have no Walmart store anywhere near me. Do you know of any other reputable place where it would be sold?
Thank you,
Vinny

I don't know THAT specific radio... but dial cord is pretty much generic and can be purchased in lengths or spools.
www.RadioDaze.com ... or www.oldradioparts.com etc

Vinny, check out Bob's at following site listed below. At $3.00 per spool and $1.20 shipping, it is hard to go wrong!
