:Greetings, what do you experts use to lubricate the internal moving parts of a radio? which parts should and can be lubricated?.
:Thank you,
:Vinny
Its generally best to remove dirt, old dry lubricant, and misc. crud before putting any new lube on radio parts.

:One suggestion I would like to make ..Is never use moder day automotive oil...Some people put it in a squirt can and like to use it. I suggest not doing doe especially if you have pot metal parts. The VERY high detergent value of such oils will break down pot meatal parts over time. Just a general all purpose oil like sewing machine oil is the best...

Learn from one who has done this. Graphite is conductive. Keep it away from live circuits. But IMHO, 3-in-1 works for me about as well as anything.

PL, I had Bellsouth and AT&T bought them. Then AT&T changed things around. My computer does things I have no explanation for. I pushed the submit block ONE time, and posted three times.
