I am assuming that there is not even a small scrap in the corner to use as a reference? If you have the speaker board in place, you might find a scrap hiding in the area where the board is overlaped by the cabinet.
Unfortunately, GE used more than just a few patterns; some are not available.
: I have just aquired a nice G.E. Model E-105 console and would like to find out the year of manufacture and possibly what type of grille cloth may have been in it originally. Could someone help?
Do you by chance happen to have a jpeg image of it right now?
I cannot picture the cabinet, but I have two GE speaker boards that I can remeber what the cabinet looked like if I see it again. If it is the same as one of my references, I will know right away. I can then send an image of what it should look like.
: John - Thank you for the quick responce to the year of manufacture. The cabinet currently has a light green shade of burlap and I'm uncertain if this could have been the original. -Ross
