I need a schematic for an M.R.C.-3 radio.Mfg date is 1924.It uses 3 tubes that I need also. Two of the tubes are UV 199 and 199V with sub script 23k.This radio requires head phones. If someone could help,I would be very grateful.
Thank you very much,

Hi,
Unless someone has traced out one specifically, the schematic may not be available at all. However, (http://www.lindsaybks.com/) carries "Henley's 222 Radio Circuit Designs", which does show a number of circuits that should be of some help.

More than likely, the only problem you may have other than locating tubes, would be the single electrolytic drying out- rare, but does occur.

High impedance headphones, available at www.tubesandmore.com, and on Ebay from time to time, you would just need a way to power it.

The tube ratings are 3 volts on filament, and a maximum of 90 volts on plate. So you can run the radio with a stack of 9 volt batteries to get 72 volts (best to not press ones luck when the max voltage is only 90 volts), and tap off at 36 or 45 volts for the detector. Otherwise if you are looking for a way to power it from 120AC, I have a number of scematics and links to others at my site.
