Zenith Radio

Greetings,

Last weekend I aquired 4 more old radios,( I've also built a
new dog house for myself.)

One of these is a Zenith console. However the rear panel that most likely held
all the information is missing. The chassis has a number of 7S682
which I beleive means 7 tubes/ 110VAC Boradcast, Police, ShortWave / Year 1942/
but the last couple digits 82, I am not sure of. It is a console with a record
"player". I am challenged as to how to find info on this either in Rider or Sams,
both of which I've tried.

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Best Regards,

Wayne Rosberg

Wayne:

I hope that doghouse is big enough for all your radios.

You can get the type of information you need at these two websites:

http://home.flash.net/~billhar/zenmodel.htm
http://www.oldradios.com/reference/zenith.htm

The model number you gave should be enough to locate the service data in Rider. It is too early for Sams which started publishing in 1946.

Tim

Hi,

The easiest answer is to actually just go to the Rider section of this site.
